Our Teachers
Diana Smith-Sullivan - Owner/Director
Diana is no stranger to the stage. She is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC, NY for Film and Television as well as a graduate of Dance Masters of America with certification in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Musical Theatre
Diana has performed on ABC’s “Loving” in 1983 in NYC as well as on the HBO special “Lifetime Stories”, 1994
She has performed Off Broadway in various shows and at Universal Studio’s in Florida. The role that owns her heart however has been being the proud owner of Lets Dance Studio for the past 25 years. Bringing the love of dance and theatre to the community in which she grew up brings her so much joy and pride!
Miss Portia Jonasson - (competitive) Portia started teaching in 2016. She is our competitive Contemp, Acro and lyrical teacher. Portia is a long time award winning Let's Dance dancer in our competitive team and she completing her Dance Masters syllabus training throughout the summer. She is trained in Ballet, lyrical, jazz, tap and contemporary and certified in acro. Portia will continue her education as a dancer and teacher to upgrade her skills and knowledge to bring to her students.
Miss Kiirsten Mills -(Recreational/competitive) Kiirsten has been with the studio for 12 years now. She is a beautiful Ballerina and that is just what she happens to teach here! Kiirsten has completed Level 1 and 2 exams for Ballet. Kiirsten is planning to attend Dance Masters of American this next year to upgrade on the other styles of dance. Kiirsten is versatile in lyrical, jazz and hip hop as well. She is also our administrative Assistant.
Miss Maggie Hayter -(recreational) We are so thrilled to have Miss Maggie on staff. Maggie has travelled from Barrie, Ontario to come to Sudbury for University. She was a competitive dance and later a dance teacher in a studio in Barrie for a few years before she moved here. This past summer she completed her Dance Master's of America Training - Grade 1. Her love for dance, and technical training have been an asset to our studio. We look forward to many more seasons with Maggie.
Miss Sydney Cribari - Sydney is a teacher in training. Sydney has been with the studio since the age of 5. She is also an award winning competitive dancer. Sydney is a kind hearted, outgoing young lady, we love having her assist many of our classes. Sydney will continue her training and we are looking forward to her starting her own classes this season!
Miss Zoe Rogers -New to our faculty but not a stranger to the studio, Zoe is now in her 2nd year of teaching with us. She is our recreational Hip-Hop teacher. Zoe is a talented dancer who has been with us since the age of 4. She is continuing her dance education and is excited to bring all she learns to our students!
Janelle Brouillard (Recurring Faculty)
(Competitive/Recreational/Acro)Janelle has completed University and has been part of Let's Dance since it started. She went from being a star student to a star teacher! She has attended and graduated from Dance Master's of America and has completed her Jazz and Ballet exams. Janelle has completed Module 1 of Acrobatic Arts Certification. Janelle is a gifted award winning choreographer with a passion that never ends! Janelle has been with the studio for 22 years now!
Holley Weitzel (Recurring faculty)
(Competitive Level Teacher /Fully Acro Certified) Holley is a graduate of Laurentian University. Holley has been part of our Let's Dance Family since 2001 and teaching for us since 2004. Holley has been through Dance Master's of America training and has completed her Ballet and Jazz corps exams. She is also is fully certified through Acrobatic Arts and has completed all their modules. Holley is a wonderful, charming, dedicated and extremely talented performer and teacher. Her passion for this art truly shines in all her innovative and creative "award winning" choreography.
